The BAMET Banding Machine is a high-performance solution for bundling cigarette packs within production lines. Designed for maximum flexibility, it can be installed as a bypass to an existing cellowrapper or operate independently as a complete replacement.
The machine forms bundles in various configurations and applies PP tape using a controlled sealing force that ensures structural stability without damaging the product. Available in two speed variants: up to 40 or 60 bundles per minute. The system supports multiple tape widths and bobbin capacities.
Optional modules such as label printing and Track & Trace systems allow for seamless integration with production and logistics workflows, enabling full serialization and aggregation compliance across the line.

- Banding 40 (up to 40 bundles/min)
- Banding 60 (up to 60 bundles/min)
Application: Can operate as a bypass or a full replacement for cellowrapper
Stable banding: Tape sealing with controlled tension ensures rigidity without product deformation
Bundling: Forms bundles in various configurations (e.g. 5x2, 4x2)
Supported tapes: Widths: 28, 48, 60 mm; thickness from 35 μm; material: PP
Bobbin capacity: 10,000 bundles (Banding 40), 20,000 bundles (Banding 60)
Track & Trace ready: Bundle labeling replaced with direct on-band printing
Packs enter the system via the infeed conveyor and are arranged into bundles in the required configuration (e.g. 5x2 or 4x2).
The banding unit then applies PP tape around each bundle with controlled sealing tension, ensuring structural rigidity without deforming the product.
Once banded, bundles move through the elevating conveyor, which can discharge to the left or right, allowing flexible integration into the production line. Optional modules for label printing and Track & Trace enable full compliance throughout the process.
